About me
Hi, my name is Larae.
Welcome! If you’ve landed on this page you are likely on a search to speak with someone about your mental health, healing, and wellness. Even if you are unsure what to ask, what you need to feel better, or how to get started I’m happy to help in your next step. I offer both virtual and in-person counseling services.
Introduction
You can learn more about me: I'm a Black, mixed-race, trans, and queer social worker psychotherapist. My pronouns are they/them.
Professional Background
I’ve been a psychotherapist for five years, specializing in working with 2SLGBTQIA* youth, young adults, and their families in an agency.
Personal Interests
In my free time, I love to go on bike rides, build terrariums (mini-ecosystems), and spend quality time hanging out with my family.
Get Started With Me
We will work together to explore the things you want to speak about and which approaches feel most beneficial for you. It is totally okay if you don’t have a clear idea of what you’d like to work through in therapy! Regardless of where we start, it’s important to me that our time together is centered on you, and you have the space to explore the direction you want to take in understanding your mental health.
