Healing Through
Authentic Connection
Listening, exploring, and celebrating

Hi, my name is Larae
Welcome! If you’ve landed on this page you are likely on a search to speak with someone about your mental health, healing, and wellness. Even if you are unsure what to ask, what you need to feel better, or how to get started, I’m happy to help in your next step. I offer both virtual and in-person counselling services.
First, I want to allow you to learn a bit about me. My pronouns are they, them, theirs and I am a Black, mixed-race, trans, and queer social worker psychotherapist. I have been a psychotherapist in an agency for over five years, specializing in working with 2SLGBTQIA* youth, young adults, and their families. In my free time, I love to bike ride, build terrariums (mini-ecosystems), and hang out with my family.
Getting started working together
We will work together to explore the things you want to speak about and which approaches feel most beneficial for you. It is totally okay if you don’t have a clear idea of what you’d like to work through in therapy! Regardless of where we start, it’s important to me that our time together is centered on you, and you have the space to explore the direction you want to take in understanding your mental health.
